how many bowling fans are there here?

Discuss all things Las Vegas. Hotels, restaurants, good deals, airfares, cabbies, conventions, shows, etc.

Mike, the Tournament of Champions is scheduled for Red Rock Lanes Jan. 23-27 with the televised finals on the 27th.  Even if Jason doesn't qualify for tv, you know he'll be pushing the bar to the limits or pushing the DEAL/DRAW button

Is any of you going to attend the tournament? If so and you can catch me not competing or in the casino please say hello as I have not met anyone. If you can't guess who I am my name is Jason Couch.

I had already guessed that. Three exempt pros with the initials JC and only one of them not bowling.  Easy for me to find since I visit pba.com quite regularly. I thought about mentioning it but I wasn't sure if you preferred to remain incognito.

I can only imagine your frustration the last couple of weeks with lefties having a good shot. I will say hi if I see you at Red Rock ... and once again, best of luck.

For anyone who doesn't recognize the name ... Jason is definitely one of the very best bowlers in the WORLD.

I should add that the first time I saw Earl Anthony in person he was sitting at a blackjack table.

I think many bowlers are also gamblers (golfers as well). It's probably related to bowling all those pot games when we first figured out we could beat most of the other bowlers. Nowadays it's called advantage play.

Don't worry, someday, when you get to be my age, they will let you back in.
