So here is the situation:
Bonus 7/5 = 98.01
DW 12/10/4/4/3 = 97.58
DWB 10/4/3 = 97.36
DDB 9/5 = 97.87
All available on 3/5/10 play with 25¢/50¢/$1.00 denominations except only 25¢ & $1 denomination on 10 play.
Question: Which is the better strategy to use?
Option #1:
10 play @ 25¢ versus less hand with a higher denomination per hand eg: 5 hands @50¢. Why?
Did you take into consideration a RF on 25¢ is not a hand pay?
Option #2:
Bonus 7/5 = 98.01
DW 12/10/4/4/3 = 97.58
DDB 9/5 = 97.87
Are available on 1-100 hand 10¢ and 25¢.
So what would you recommend?
Thanks,
LL

Not a recommendation, but of those choices I would probably opt for DDB 0.25 5 play or 0.50 3 play to start.

Taking the hand pay into consideration, and the negative expectation, I would go with the slowest loss, 10 cents. Years ago I played a 50 hand, nickel, dime, and quarter. The payouts were 30/9/5 JOB, and 30/9/5 DDB, so in the low to upper 98%s. I actually made money at it, but free play was much more abundant. I only lost my bank roll ($700) three times.Lucky Larry wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 7:56 pmSo here is the situation:

I started 5 coins (Always 5 coins), 1 hand, and go up a hand after a loss. After 10 hands/losses, I switched from JOB to DDB for hands 11 up to 20. A push stays the same. Did the same with dimes, and than quarters, until a win. Then go back to nickels. I stayed at quarters until a win or bust.
Over about 5 years I finished over $2000 ahead at Soaring Eagle, with no hand pays. When on the road, at other casinos, I gave up all but about $600 of that. Lower payouts, and less free play at all other casinos combined.
Bonus 7/5 would be my 1st choice @ the dimes, and 2nd choice @ quarters. I started playing when the Game Kings were pennies, and still play mostly nickels and quarters on Game Kings & Game Makers. Four hand pays since the turn of the century....THIS ONE not last one

I love the logic! We've got to stop gambling our butts off. It doesn't work and often produces excruciating pain.

If forced to play, I'd do 1 hand at a time on the 10 cent, 7/5 BP.

Of two evils, choose neither.

Again, excellent advice! That place is cleaning up on VP folks. Head over to the craps tables and at least enjoy the bonhomie!

A tough decision for me. I am used to playing 99 percent machines. I would probably have a very short session with Bonus Deuces Wild and if I hit even gas or coffee money bail out. By the way, the way David E used to play is very similar to my play now on regular Deuces Wild or other games except I play mostly single line games. I can’t get 99 percent games at Mohegan on multiline games

Ha! Yeah, that's about all you could hope for. Again, not a great day, just a break even and run. Hit and run trips look quite improbable. Believe me, we're not missing out on much playing single line. Just losing a lot slower.
