This is what I do for gas and go home money in case of a bankroll bust session.
I download the free play before I begin my regular play. I keep a running total in my head of all credits paid even pushes. Always on a quarter game and either JOB ot regular Deuces wild. When the credits paid total including pushes matches what is left in the machine, I cash out. Usually it gives me about 75 percent of free play assuming no quads or wild Royals hit. It is amazing though how fast the casino gobbles up 20-30 percent of coin in without those better little hits like quads on job and Wild Royals on Deuces Wild.

Here we have what the casino calls extra pay day on Thursdays, we get free play that day whatever your weekly FP from 8a to midnight use it or lose it. I do the same that day get in early before the crowd, do JOB just like you OLDS whatever I get to the coin I hit the door with it.

If you did that on video blackjack, you'd get closer to 95% of your FP back most times.olds442jetaway wrote: ↑Fri Oct 29, 2021 7:54 amThis is what I do for gas and go home money in case of a bankroll bust session.

When playing video blackjack with free play, a push is as good as a win as the FP converts to real cash.

I tried it on Blackjack a few times, but never did that well. Seems like the dealer almost always started with a 10 and I would start with a 4,5,or 6. Then of course I would get my 10 forcing me to hit then most always bust. Many years ago I quit table blackjack forever. About 25 years ago at foxwoods, the dealer had BJ 11 out of 13 hands. Haven’t played a table BJ game since. I posted about it in the forum years ago. I think BJ can be more frustrating than VP. Especially when you have 20 and the dealer starts with 5 and draws all the way to 21.

But does video blackjack offer any chance of a $1,000 hit?

Yes. Just bet $1,000.00 and if you win the hand then you'll win $1,000.00. If you are lucky enough to get a blackjack it may pay off 3:2 or 6:5 and then you could win $1,500.00 or $1,200.00 on your initial $1,000.00 bet.
