Thanks Jeter, I hope it’s just a deep cleaning, but they moved the old VP machines to the back area several years ago and I expect them to be moved away for good at some time. FAA, B-Bar is ok for a little while, but not always best for my wife and I as we often play for 4-5 hour stretches and look for the different setting where we can sometime just talk a little as we play or change machines. Certainly not high rollers, but we make the 4 hour trip from Virginia because we play MGM properties primarily to maintain our MLife Gold status and don’t care for MGM National Harbor which is much closer to us. We visited them quite often for several years, and the VP pay tables are similar to Borgata and newer machines, although they too were moved to a back corner, but customer service is generally poor, the property is not as clean as Borgata, and there are no free drinks - not that we drink that many, but they get enough profit. So we generally do 2 or 3-night trips about every 6 weeks to Borgata, which we’ve always liked, and 1 or 2 Vegas trips to Bellagio per year. Borgata customer service has always been good, and no one else has an Amphora like setting which we enjoy at Borgata :-)

Good going Hiker. I’m guessing you are traveling from Northern Virginia. We still have a family farm in Virginia, but it is as far southwest as one can go. Just a couple of miles from both Tennessee and Kentucky. It’s an entirely different world down there and over 800 miles from Ct. Best of luck on future casino visits. If you ever make your way up to Mohegan Sun, they keep the place immaculate. No smoking, and customer service is excellent. Probably about 8 hours from you folks though. I haven’t made the trek to the farm in awhile, but it’s a 16 hour drive and over 800 miles from Ct. years ago, we drove straight through sometimes. And still plenty of 99 percent quarter machines too at Mohegan.

Funny, those are the ones I play overnight at Mohegan Sun. Unfortunately, they downgraded many of them and removed all from some of the sports bars replacing them with keno or mindless games.

OLDS, yes, we’re in N Va. MS is in on my bucket list to visit and I get their email offers. Just haven’t had an occasion to head that far up for awhile. Need to plan another New England trip. Your family farm is in a different, but beautiful, world, as in much of western Va all the way up through the Shenandoah Valley.

JIMDEUCES’WILD, thanks for the reminder as to the Borgata MGM Sports Bar, need to check that again. Been crowded the few times I’ve popped in but that’s usually weekends. Good luck all,

Ok yes that entire Cumberland Gap area is amazing. Let me know if you guys get up this way sometime. I will keep the gang advised if the 99 percent machines disappear. Speaking for a moment of Northern VA, Back in the 50s, my grandmother lived one block from the Newport News Shipyard. My grandfather worked there. Watching the shipyard work from the sidewalk was amazing. I also got to tour and hang out a bit in the SS United States before it was completed I think in 1952. Amazing ship back then. Ok back to VP if anyone ask questions about Mohegan Sun you can post them in my thread Bizarro world 2024. Would like to get to Borgata. The drive down there is no fun. Would have to travel overnight.

200 miles is a lot when you’re so accustomed to a leisurely sixty. I guess you’d want to leave at 4 AM to enjoy your usual ten hour marathon.

The Ghetto is still blocked off. Took advantage of leap year bonus and was gifted $125 free play. Ran over to multi strike and hit 4oak on top row playing DB. Punched out + $600. B Bar has been absolutely horrendous since the start of the new year. Got dealt 4 oak on Shock Wave, but absolutely nothing on the bonus round. Amphora great as always. Still can’t post pics, keep getting a black screen.

Good session. Very strange on the pic issue. Unfortunately, I’m a 🦕 when it comes to tech geek stuff. Probably need a tech geek to look over your shoulder and or the settings in your phone next time you try and post one. Good luck with that.

Congrats Jeter on a positive session. And while your pics aren’t currently working the ones of good hits are nice, but your Amphora meal and drink pics always bring a smile to my face. Good luck,
