Thanks for the thoughts. A massive helping of good luck would sure be welcomed.

Ditto! I have an extra 4 leaf clover I had misplaced. Sending it your way. I bet CBK has a couple left as well. Enjoy.

if you had asked me last weekend about the likelihood of successfully flying from Buffalo to Las Vegas on the 10th, I would have responded with something like "not very". The stormy weather forecast for the 9th, and the very strong winds on the 10th made me quite pessimistic.
Our plan had always been to drive to Niagara Falls on the 9th, and stay at Seneca Niagara that night before the 40-45 minute drive to the Buffalo airport on the 10th. That drive was, indeed, very demanding. Most of it was in very heavy rain with strong winds and reduced visibility. And, when it wasn't raining, there was snow! But, after a somewhat longer than usual drive, we did make it successfully, without any incidents.
We played briefly at Seneca on that afternoon, to avoid any "stay without play" stigma. Remarkably, for our second trip there in a row, I was dealt four to the royal on a 5 line 50c machine and connected for one royal. Good way to start the trip!
And, despite my concern that the exceptionally strong winds on the 10th would affect our flight schedule, we left Buffalo pretty much on time, and arrived in Vegas also pretty much on time.
I hope the rest of the trip goes as well!

Taking off with a $2,000 windfall minus an ancillary loss is flying the friendly skies! -FAA
