How many hours of play for nine 4OAK's FAA?
I quite often have "over-quad" days and still a loser.
Have done rough calculations several times and have seen days with one per 150-200 hands.
Also recorded one day with two royals and ZERO quads in 6 hours of play (roughly 3600 hands).
The gods of the machine giveth and taketh away.

Tortured Thursday. I lost my $25 Caesars table FP on a four to out. I won $27 on my $25 quarter JOB FP. It took eighty minutes for my first quad, the second twenty minutes later. But a pure overall disaster. Net Day: -$400. 110 TCs.

Sounds familiar. Better luck next time. In desperation for 2024, I have switched to inferior multi line nickel games. You probably read it already.

Just looked back and probably shouldn’t have. Last tiny Royal was 12/21/2023. Since I have been playing lots of multi line poker since then my best guess is at least 300,000 hands without a Royal. 😬. I hope I am not heading toward my two records or over 600,000 hands set twice some years ago.

FAA, I know this may be a bit of a stretch for you but have you ever thought about playing multi-line games at a lower denomination? Triple play, or maybe Five play at the .05 or .10 denomination? Max coin in of course.

No, but the time has come. It'll be cloning the Olds rut. But I'll settle for lesser pay tables if I can curtail the massive losses. The alternative is three hours of progressive JOB.

If you do dip a toe into multi-line games, don't go for the carnival games. Stick to the games you know until you feel comfortable with multi-line play. Good luck.

I think you should do whatever olds and Ted agree on.
