It's hard to figure out what some of the casinos are thinking (assuming they are thinking at all). Many times, I have observed virtually identical machines side by side, one will have sound control, and the other won't. Why the difference? Who knows?olds442jetaway wrote: ↑Fri Feb 03, 2023 2:59 pm.... Some machines do not have settings and are set by the casino. I like a low or at most a medium volume setting.
I like to play a machine with medium sound, just loud enough so that my wife, playing beside me, can hear the royal song when it goes off.

That’s a good one. I never could quite figure out casino management. I have seen them spend over 100k on blown glass decorations in an area nobody sees and on and on. With video poker, they reduce the odds and or even basic comps that cost them almost nothing. Now the machines go unplayed. I used to have to troll the rows up and down until I could get an open vp machine. Now in Late evening, I get any machine I want most times except at peak. I used to leave 4 times the money at the casino I do now. I just don’t get it.
