Ult X DDB Dealt 4 Aces
Quick question for the group…I was playing $.25 DDB Ultimate X (five play) recently and was dealt 4 Aces, resulting in a nice $2K hand pay. The guy next to me was insistent that this was a highly unusual hand but I’ve heard from others that it’s far less rare than the elusive dealt royal. What’s the verdict?

Dealt quad aces occur 12 times as often as dealt royals in 52-card games. Think of the 4 suits that a royal can come in. And then think that dealt quad aces are accompanied by a 5th card that can be any of the other 48 cards. Four vs. forty-eight.

Excellent! I knew someone would have the “official” answer on this one. Thanks!

I got dealt 4 natural sevens yesterday on bonus deuces so be glad it wasn't on the wrong game like me. -_-

I have had both dealt aces and dealt aces with a kicker multiple times in casinos.
Never had a casino dealt royal, but have had multiple it times here at VP.com.
