Has anyone successfully grinded diamond elite/seven stars with these Reno promotions?
I've played primarily at the Row for my seven stars status the past couple of years, although I gave them plenty of action on non TC multiplier days. My strategy was to always play 2500 or 5000 points for the triple-up daily TC bonus.

TC promo days are often crowded, but there's a lot of full-pay to choose from. Current vpfree2 inventory for Eldorado should be close to accurate.

Reno weather is frigid, but I'm on thin ice. Both mail offers and event invitations are trending down toward zero. Your mileage would vary if you're new to them.

What sort of offers does that generate? I'm about a 500TC/trip player and get maybe $30 FP and comp rooms.

When they liked me, I was around 0.5% in free play offers. So a $100k trip would yield ~$500 in mail. Plus a lesser amount of dining. On average. Actual amounts from one mailer to the next were not necessarily as expected. This was mostly during the $10/point era.

I've never made the effort to assess theo of individual machines. It may be possible to do significantly better than 0.5% mail with good knowledge of their system.

Hotel should be relatively easy because you have multiple paths to success. Although I'm now out of the explicit hotel offer loop, I can still self-comp through the online calendar, any day of the week.

I went once to Reno with a 3x promo, but nearly all of my TCs came from 3, 5 & 10X multipliers at Harrahs AC, along with daily bonuses. I think I had 9 or 10 trips last year and eeked out 7 Stars. It all comes down to how many credits you can multiply. If it's 4000, you'll move up quick. If only 1000, not so much. It also helps if you play 10$ per TC.

Without everything lining up- including fairly decent luck- I would only be sniffing diamond plus. But to answer your question, yes, absolutely.

Good work!

I have no idea how this year will develop. It really doesn't fit their corporate business model to have good games throughout Eldorado. They have a lot of old bartops which could be replaced. The new pay schedules would likely be slimmer and trimmer. Eldorado has possibly the ancientest (Wiktionary says it's a word) inventory downtown. The skid row, homeless shelter casinos have new bartops. Club Cal Neva, Gold Dust West, J Resort.

TX, what is your average loss on a 500 TC day? I’d love to do one, but my bankroll barely lasts 110 TCs.
