Played tons myself, but if it's dealing crazy winning hands in tournaments, something's fishy.
Yes, the game is rigged in tournament mode. They're not hiding it.

If you can figure out how to activate tournament mode for real money, I predict financial success in your future.
Thank you for sharing this. I think that many people in this forum are not clear about the idea of true randomness. They keep talking about how if you play long enough then UX might reward you with a big hand. Just imagine saying that about roulette, if you play long enough and lose 90 % of your bankroll, then the dealer will spin the wheel and put that ball on 17 for you :)
I have always played VP because of its total randomness, Now that I hear these stories, I can say I'm very sceptical about this VP RNG. I have seen many $10 Denom players @ The Bellagio locking the machine and going to sleep and coming back the. next day. On the progressive machine, i asked the attendant why the machine was out of order and she said the machine has been locked for a guest. I guess I'm the idiot now, I use to make fun of those guys.

Thank you for clearing that up.

Tell us a little more about yourself. A decade ago, you were a huge player. In 2014, you reported a $47k loss in one Vegas weekend. "Its getting much more difficult to win these days."

In 2015, you won $140k on 3 royals in a 3-hour stretch.

Unfortunately, all the old photo links are expired.

You posted more big hits through 2017, but then 6 years elapsed before you started this thread. What did we miss?

I did not play much in 2018,2019
After hitting those big Handpays, I started playing 25 Play $1 Denom @ ARIA, where I lost most of my bankroll. It started going downhill for me when I started playing those Carnival Games (Hot Roll, UX....). Lately, I'm playing single-hand Deuces Bonus on $2 Denom. That is my game of choice. I have learned to stay. away from those Bonus Games, and If I decide to play them, I stick to very low denom just to pass the time. I have had my best sessions at the Wynn Casino, I also love to play Super Triple Play, but again, not much luck on those, I try to post some pictures, but somehow I'm not able to do it. on this Forum.

Fascinating. Thanks for the pics.

I have a lot of Vegas play history myself, but mostly at lower-class casinos for lower-denom bets, on lower-volatility games. I'm comfortable that the games behave as they're supposed to, but it seems most players and employees are in your camp.

Ultimate X is not a bad game, but if you were in the casino, $10 per hand is pretty steep for the payouts. I wish this site would list all the video poker games by percentages of breaking even. I know they all are in the house's favor, but some of these games, well, if you play them in the casino, good luck!! I also have ocean front property in Arizona for sale.:))

it is a decent game, but in a casino setting, paying $10 per hand can be quite expensive given the payout rates.
