it has gotten to the point where its not worth going to vegas anymore.
Sometimes your local casinos may be a better option, considering ease of access to play the best promotions and redeem whatever offers they send. If you can extract 1%+ from the slot club on a 99% game, that's just as good as a 100% game earning no points.

Some of the online casinos (in legalized states) are close to 100% on their vp games.
I agree that it is not worth going to Vegas. My local casino, Santan Mountain in Metro Phoenix, is a much better option even though I only have 9/5 DDB with a progressive RF and minimal comps. There are a few reasons. I am a non-AP recreational player who plays very short sessions. The local casino is 2 miles from my house, brand new, and smoke free. Staff are constantly cleaning up and minimal or any waiting for support help. I can also sleep in my own bed. The better Vegas paytables are more than offset by the cost of driving to Vegas, hiring a cat sitter, hotel and other expenses (no comps offered for years), and healthier atmosphere.

Never been to Vegas and it is getting to be pretty unlikely I will ever get there. Fortunate enough ( though I win very seldom ) to be an hour away from 99+ machines in the cleanest ( no smoking) casino with very friendly and competent employees.

I have a trip planned for April 2024 to Palace Station in LV. I like Red Rock for VP but changing it up this time. Any thoughts/tips for staying at PS? Good VP, restaurants etc...TIA.
Best of luck to you on your trip, I hope you find some pretty cooperative video poker no matter where you look.
