As a question not just to ted but to everyone here, what exactly do you players consider a sufficient large enough bankroll to be able to survive the gameswings in these games that ted plays?
I don't mess with multiplay TDB, I only play single line TDB double pay ($10 hand). For that, 4-5k is needed per day and even then I've busted on many occasions. I almost never reduce denomination since I won't recoup losses already incurred.
I would think for multiplay TDB you would want much more- as much as 20-25k for 10 play dollar. Seems like a lot until you lose 2 grand an hour. And that's easier than you might think.

Single line is the safe path when you have a 3 day or longer stay planned, a set amount of dollars to play with, and little else to do besides play/gamble. The good thing about vegas, or even reno/tahoe is there is something to do or places to go if you are getting clobbered. If I ever played at a isolated venue, like down where olds plays in connecticut at the two huge first nations places Mohican and Foxwoods, you are a long way from anything else to do so you need to be really smart and cautious to make it last. Upstate NY casinos, and Niagra falls are a toss up. In the summer months there are wonderful alternatives to the gaming area to visit, like Saratoga and lake george or champlain, but forget about the winter.
Even with tons to do in AC, with my tightly structured trips, I need to cram in the VP. The machines are often cold and I lose half my BR. I really think the answer is to just play one hour for me and accept the results.

What's the alternative to "accepting" the results of whatever amount of time you play? I've never heard of anyone asking for a refund or do-over; I'm pretty sure there is some fine print on a plaque or bulletin somewhere on the wall of these casinos that basically tells us all, play at your own risk, etc.

Ok ok, I will admit, I could not resist the softball presented in your post; but you must admit Faa, saying that you "accept" the results of a videopoker session, no matter what amount of time or duration, is bit redundant. I have walked into things too, based on some things I have said and posted. I like to think that this website and forum now is full of people who mostly mean well and good-naturedly kid around. Or I did until the other post in the thread about FPDW.
Ted is pretty funny in some of his zingers and I may have been trying to emulate him. You seem to encourage a lot of it.
