The first time I used valet parking by myself at a casino, I neglected to leave only my car key. Anyone could easily have had keys made and picked up my ID info from items in the car, as in house key and address. I could have been half way home by the time my car showed up if I had parked myself. Another time, the drivers seat had been put way too far back and it was a struggle to get it drivable for me. First dent in my new car was noticed after I had valet parking. Another time I was quite certain my tank was down a quarter after valet parking - I am compulsive about checking the gas gauge when out of town. The above were not provable or reported but turned me off from valet parking. Benford's Law advocated valet parking on another story, had no issues and never used a security escort when leaving a casino with $. Anyone else have any valet pkg experiences to share?

You got that right! Valet problems never happen when husband is with me or we have a rental car. Seems I am supposed to be in the next valet line as well. Thanks everyone for making me feel worse.

I never use valet parking anymore; if a casino doesn't have its own self-parking then I don't play there.
I've had several annoying experiences. The first I think Marie mentioned - a dented door. The second was a valet snapping off the interior door latch as he was getting out of my truck. We both watched it bouncing on the ground - before I could say anything he looked at me and said, "That was already broken!" (right)

I'm with CD. Never use it. I hate waiting for my car. I'd rather be driving to another casino.

Valet Parking.....I have been using valet parking in L V since the 60s and at SO Cal casinos since they opened.....I have never had a single item stolen or a single scratch on my cars....Morongo has raised valet to 6 dollars , with tip that is probably to much since it takes them 12 to 15 minutes to get your car and there is no protection from sun wind or rain....kind of arrogent I think
