Laughlin
Any tips for Laughlin? We are headed there this weekend and were curious about where the best VP and slots can be found.

My husband and I like to stay and play at the Tropicana Express (formerly Ramada Express) Did very well there last year on dollar DDB. Also, check out Aquarius (formerly the Flamingo Laughlin) They have lots of VP and I have done well there, also. Good Luck, have fun, and win lots of money!

my brother-in-law was playing at Aquarius for a few days and said, "It is a great place for VP." He did really well playing there so I would suggest take a look at Aquarius as well. I have never been there so please give us a trip report when you get back if you would.

I did well at Riverside, Colorado Belle and Harrahs and hit two royals one evening at FLAMINGO, now Aquarius. Those machines are no longer there. We enjoyed the riverboat narrated tour, $8. There's a $3 river boat taxi between casinos. Really loved that river walk between Riverside and Colorado Belle. Sandy beach at Harrahs. Most important: Harrah's sells popcorn at a hallway refreshment stand probably between casino and elevators. LUCK!

Desert Don, there are numerous choices depending on the game and denomination you wish to play. Log on to; http://members.cox.net/vpfree/L.htm this site should get you in the right direction and at least some idea where to stay and/or play. Hope it's helpful to you.

Clowndoctor, one must assume you are making reference to the cat with the username; CLWN2, is this correct? If so, welcome and hello back. I was responding to a post from another user with the name DesertDon. My posts will list Ed or EDC. Again welcome and have a good day.

Hi Ed,
Yes he is referring to me. That would be clown number one, hence my screen name clwn2. He is the dude I talked about in my stories of the old days when we used to hit the casinos in Vegas and San Diego. He was the lucky one always hitting the Royals and such. Way back when we started playing Pechanga was just a tent. They had these funky vp machines that took 40 nickels to load up and paid jackpots for the royal, straight flush and quads. Of course when you compared them with Vegas machines they were a rip off but they were close and so we went there a lot. Boy we had some stories about that place. Then Pala opened up in 2001 and we used to take the backroads back and forth between the two places. This was before I worried too much about perfect play and all that. But, man we had a blast!
Hopefully he will come out of the closet and share some of his stories. I don't think he will mind me sharing this. He won't dazzle you with strategy or money management but man the luck he has had...
Talk to ya...
