Thank You

Let's take a moment away from the gripes about advertising and other minor irritations and consider that we're being provided with a free , well designed and well run, highly entertaining way to get our video poker fix. The technical support ( the one time I asked for help  ) was prompt, understandible and effective. The presentation of the games is casino quality. We can play all day and night and never spend a cent. Kudos to the webman and all responsible for this site.

Amen, outstanding effort by all involved in producing this most excellent gaming site.  Kudos to all forum participants, also.  Yet, I can't fathom why our neighbors to the North are prohibited from winning prizes.  Are we not a global village?  Our allies, in particular, should be given equal game prize winning opportunity.

Yes Canadians look like US citizens. Very hard for the untrained eye to spot them, even up close. I can even speak a little of the canadian tongue myself.
There border practically touches ours in many places to our north. And they celebrate Christmas on Dec 25, just like real Americans.
The way I see it if it was not for Canada those artic winds would hit America right between the great lakes and we would all freeze our butts off. Thank you Canada
Can't same the same for most of our southern neighbors.
Let'em have a hat Webman.

I'm a little puzzled as well, since the contests are free and there aren't any cash prizes.  Maybe Webman's lawyers are just up on U.S. gaming laws and don't think it's worth the time to make sure the contest rules comply with gaming laws other countries might have.  Maybe they have checked on it and there ARE issues.  With 99% of the site members being in the U.S. they might just feel more comfy limiting contests to U.S. residents

I know that oej has a crack team of lawyers on his staff - maybe they can help us out on this one.

Are you able to see Toronto from your cell window? Good thing for climate control or you would freeze. Must be those hoseheads have some sort of gaming law in their books.

My uneducated guess is that the costs and complications of shipping a prize across the border have caused the powers that be to limit contestants to the U.S. Appreciate the support on this issue from my fellow VP fanatics south of the border but I suspect that it's a dead issue. Too bad - I was reorganizing my wardrobe around a classy VP hat , as my wife tells me that my John Deere hat isn't suitable for weddings and funerals, but it looks like I'll have to look elsewhere for an upgrade. Maybe I can get another season out of my Old Fart hat.

Er, pardon me,  grandpa,  but a John  Deere cap is in fact suitable for all occasions up to and including the inauguration of a vice president.   For attending the inauguration of POTUS your "Old Fart Hat"  will be derigueur and will give you carte blanche to the best parties.   How's that for Quebecois  patois, mon ami?  Could I fit in as a Canadienne?

Maybe Webman's lawyers are just up on U.S. gaming laws I don't have my own lawyers, I just work here. We are looking into international prize issues and I will post a note about it when we have received a response.
