Ginny; I don't know how familiar you are with the Boulder strip but the E-can replaced the Nevada Palace. As Steve pointed out, about 1/2 mile south with little in between. If you've been to Cannery on Craig, you'll like it here more. Steve, glad you had a nice trip and now you know what the original Cannery is like. Rampart is similar but a little more elegant. Same owners, two different properties.

Yes Virginia, there is frosting on your deep-fried twinkie. East Cannery is running a promotion for new card signups(no existing members!) for a $20 free slot play bonus. Lots of at or very near PE VP machines there and a Jackson in the right machine might net you 4,000 credits!

Thanks for the tip , Cat , on the E. Cannery. I'm glad I went and signed up. If I'm invited early enough to the G2E before Thanksgiving I may have time to plan a whirlwind trip and stay at the Cannery.

The beauty of OEJ is he's Johnny-on-the-spot and practically always on the money. Perhaps from all them collards he eats. Too bad the warden doesn't see things that way! They showed some fella out in South Carolina making a whole mess of collards with pieces of ham hocks and all. Looked good when it was done!
