Here are some more stats for those interested. Some people closed out their session before finishing so I have omitted those results from this. In case you were wondering just how common those high Quick Quads sessions were.200 deals, 3 hands per deal = 600 hands per session.Sessions with ___ Quick Quads.0: 12,541 sessions1: 12,4552: 7,8503: 4,6624: 2,6265: 1,2806: 5757: 2538: 949: 3710: 1911: 512: 113: 2Average Quick Quads: 1.548 per session(1 / 387.6 hands)Normal quads: 1.359 per session(1 / 441.5 hands)Combined quads average: 2.907 per session(1 / 206.4 hands)It would be interesting to see how the numbers from this contest compare to expected results. My guess would be that the normal quads are fairly close to expected and the quick quads were not hit as often as they could have been with strategy adjustments.

All quads (QQs+normals) should average out at around 160 hands. I think this shows most people don't know some of the QQ tricks.
I think the quads are probably a little low (s/b 425) because some folks did use QQ strategy and some people were just going for QQs only (right MikeA?).

I think the quads are probably a little low (s/b 425) because some folks did use QQ strategy and some people were just going for QQs only (right MikeA?).Yes. The majority of my play was shooting for Quick Quads only. This involved some plays what would have raised the eyebrows of anyone who knows the correct strategy for the game! <LOL>I do not recall a single session in which I got less than 2 QQs. There were several in which I got 5. I think I hit 6 in one session but never did I really get on a tear to challenge that long standing 9 QQs. I thought that one might have taken it. 13 was amazing and to have TWO players hit is was pretty incredible.CONGRATS to you guys!In my play, QQ743 dealt would result in me holding 743. You might be surprised at how many times that actually resulted in a QQ. Of course the odds were horribly against it happening and you might could make an argument that you would get more just playing normally. That argument would be hard to prove out though considering the stats WM posted with an average of 1.something or other less than 2 per session. Like I said, I might have had one with less than 2 but I cannot recall it.Whatever the case, the strategy I used was totally impractical for any reason other than either trying to shoot for the QQ award or trying to see how many rounds you could accumulate with credit totals under 3,000! I very likely had a lower average score than anyone else playing!

I really enjoyed playing QQs. I am headed to LV on 10/7 thru 10/10 with my husband and my mother. I will certainly head over to Harrahs and look for QQs! Only 34 more days, but who's counting??????

Doesn't the math indicate Mike A's short term contest only strategy for any given game eventually prove the consistent winner over the long term for all contests regardless of skill and luck of competitors? The sole exception being if all contestants play Mike A's strategy perfectly?

I don't think that using this type extreme strategy would in the long run or short run pan out to winning the high QQs in more contests.
Unfortunately, as you can see from the stats WM posted, LUCK plays a larger role than skill in these contests and for that matter, ANY contest in a casino. With as many rounds as are played, even if played by a million monkeys, one of them is going to hit the monster hands without any kind of strategy. If you review the winning rounds, they were pretty much all DEALT hands to make the scores so huge.
Skill does play a little more of a role in something like making the most QQs, but even that is tainted somewhat by being dealt a QQ multiple times. You don't have a chance to give the strategy a chance to work when you are dealt Quick Quads which adds THREE to the total.
What the strategy I employed does do is give you more of a chance to draw into more QQs than people who use the Normal Strategy. Not many more though because the strategy deals mostly with really LONG SHOT DRAWS.
Would I use it again? Sure. Especially toward the end of a contest when a high number of QQs has been posted. I mean, look at the numbers! With the 10's of thousands of rounds played, only single digit numbers of rounds with high results in QQs was logged. That tells me that they had multiple QQs dealt to them during a single round. You can't beat that with strategy.
