Re: ROYAL FLUSH DEALT!!
Congtats, Vidopoker! Great win. One possible reason it was so long and involved to receive your winnings is it was the first one in the entire history of the casino they ever had to pay out and as such you caught them quite unprepared. EDC, you're a high roller at $300 a day expenses not including RFB because of all the things to do in Vegas and I'm El Cheapo I budget $100/ day and recently graduated to 25 cent vp up from the nickel machines. This last trip I did spend a little more per day but that was on taxis.

BigSteve; Sad to think that my high roller status to you might be lost in 5-15 mins play by many here on the forum. Many play 1-5 bucks per so $200 could be gone within a few deals. As I've posted before, it's not beneath me to play the penny poker machines. I like the up to 100 hand play poker machines. I can sit for hours playing on a minimal investment and can reap decent rewards. Other times, it seems I can't put the money in fast enough as the machine keeps eating the bills I put in with no return TiTo.

thanks big steve and seachelle.
big steve: according to the personnel in the "secret room" i was taken in to, someone had hit a $400,000 wheel of fortune jackpot a few days prior. i looked on megajackpots.com, but it's not posted (yet).
delora: this was my first dealt royal and it's taken about 5 years of play before it happened. who knows when and if it will happen again in this lifetime.
although i have hit a few royals over the years, in april of 07 i was playing at the orleans and hit a royal in my first five minutes of play. top jackpot on video poker before this hit was $2,500 also at indian casino. isn't that interesting how my biggest vp hits have come at indian casinos? i remember someone else earlier in this post had mentioned all of or their biggest royal wins had come at indian casinos.

what excitement to see a royal dealt to you. my niece had one dealt to her, too. i was sitting at a vp machine, was dealt an ugly hand, threw away all 5 cards and got a royal in return. will never happen again.

Dealt royals are uncommon but if you play consistently you may see more of them. Last year during a two month period I was dealt royals 3 times. I haven't had another one in a year and a half. With my play I usually see one a year. I've never had a royal drawing all 5 cards. However, my wife had one in August, her first one ever in 15 years of gambling, and proceeded to get another one 3 weeks later on the same machine.
Never say never.
Never say never.
