Wow...most casinos only have 1200-2000 slot machines, so it'll take some  pretty large locations to host an average of 3000 of 'em.

Here in CO a measure was passed that allows the casinos in Black Hawk, Central City, and Cripple Creek to operate 24 hours, and allows individual wagers up to $100.  The residents of those towns still have to approve it.

It will be interesting to see how the casinos here deal with the higher stakes, in terms of how they allocate their floor space.  In the places I play at, most of the floor space is taken up by penny slots.  Keep those?  Remove those?  The BH/CC casinos are in a canyon, and there's no space left for expansion.   The newer existing casinos had to have hills removed for them to be built, which is pretty pricey.

The higher stakes will be more fun for oej, if he ever gets paroled.   Less wear and tear on the Gulfstream for Vegas trips since he'll be able to get his serious play in here at home.

Maybe I can just put my crdit card in and my hands determine how much milk, candy bars and gas I drive away with?

CD, I read that they had Craps and Roulette voted in as well, which was why they implemented the 24 hr operations. I also read that the casino at Cripple Creek was closing because of poor performance per news in the Las Vegas Advisor.
