Mark Pilarski free on line books on casinos/gaming

Post by marie meijer »

FYI: Log on to markpilarski.com  He writes a syndicated column and writes brief casino related question and answer stories. You can click on either of his two books and read them free on line. DEAL ME IN and MORE DEAL ME IN. For example, Deal Me In contains 101 brief chapters on various casino topics. You cannot always tell the content by the title and it does not take long to check them out.IE: Chapter 88 "The Secret of Video Poker". His weekly column appears in Player, a section of The Detroit Free Press, for one. Have a fun week everyone! I'm leaving for Vegas soon but will scan some of his writings when I return.

In column #38 from his on line free book DEAL ME IN, Mark Pilarski provides Dos And Donts Before your Vegas Trip. Asked if he ever ignores strict rules of strategy: "When dealt a high pair along with three cards to the royal, I say the hell with basic strategy." meaning toss the high pair and go for the royal. This issue was recently discussed in another topic on this site. In Column # 79 "Victory at video poker" from Pilarski's other free on line book MORE DEAL ME IN he offers more vp tips and playing strategies. Odds are you are already familiar with info in this column and a refresher might help.

Don't put faith in anything Fa La La La La.... La la la la says. Except when he tells about his $250k bankruptcy.

Seems that way in Washington DC and Wall St. GWB needs to be charged and tried as a criminal for the mess he has allowed. Many are going to suffer due to his lack of brains. Not hard to figure you have to bring in more than you spend. Creative accounting does not put money in the bank.

OEJ,

Hope your wife doesn't own a Fa La La La La.... La la la la sewing machine - that would totally blow your mind when ever she uses it.  Just the thought of anything with Fa La La La La.... La la la la on it must be un-nerving.  lol

Nope he doesn't unnerve me at all. Just doing the vp public a favor and letting them know he is nothing more than a con.

I just read about another $40B bailout to AIG - chump change at this point, hardly worth writing about.  I hope that this time the execs are at least smart enough not to throw a big party for themselves to celebrate.
