4 of Kind

Post by Eagle »

On Thursday this past week I hit a 4 of a kind playing Pick Em Poker here in Ontario for $600.00 on max bet. Friday at Casino Rama I hit again for another $600.00 on Pick Em. I then went to the tables and added $400.00 by getting a flush on Let it Ride. Merry Christmas :) For me Pick em Poker is the way to go, I have 5 $600.00 jackpots on it in 3 months

Hi Eagle and welcome to the boards.  I had a rather lucky outing Friday and Saturday myself.  Playing Double Double Bonus, I hit two Quad-Aces with kickers for 2000 credits each.  I hit these within an hour of each other.  The first, I was dealt quad aces but had to draw the kicker.  On the second one, I held one ace and was dealt the other three plus a trey for the jackpot.  Never did hit a Royal though.  Oh, these two hits of mine were in a casino playing DDB 9/6/4.  Both required hand-pay because they were on nickel machines that were not TITO.  Same floor-person paid them both and was amazed that they came so close together.

I just got through playing the new Double Pay Spin Poker on this site. I had picked Triple Play Double Double Bonus and couldn't hit a thing. 10,000 credits became less than 9000 when I was dealt 4-4-4-J-4, which generates 1080 credits from the Double Pay dealt feature. Then I held the quads and was dealt:

A
8
5

for a few hands with the kicker. Drawn hands generated 4800 credits for a total win on the hand of 5880 credits.

One thing is that the paytable for the DEALT hand seems lower than in a casino. I play Double Pay alot on the All-Star machines that have Triple Play Double Double Bonus and a dealt fullhouse pays 200 credits before you even draw. On this site, I think the paytable was only 50 credits. The rest of the DEALT paytable seems lower too.

I was at Harrahs AC this past July, playing 50 hand DDB, got dealt 4 aces while playing nickles, out of the 50 hit 24 with 2,3,4 for 2000 each, got a little over $2700.  The following week playing same game said to my son, too bad you didn't see me last week, built the game up to 8000 credits when I noticed you could play higher denom, switched to .25 and on the 3rd hand was dealth 4 aces again, payout was a little over $14000.

As I was walking past a $1 bonus deluxe poker machine at Sam's Town in LV, I noticed it just paid out a 4 of a kind in 7's for $160 with 2 coins played. I was telling my wife, if this person played the max of 5 coins, he could have won $400. So I decided to play this machine and to my surprise, I got 4 kings on my 2nd play for $400. I was so surprised, I called my dad and nephew in the casino to check it out.  I told them, this machine gave out 2 4 of kinds already and it might happen again as things come in 3's.  So, my dad decided to give it a try and to everyone's surprise he was dealt 4 aces and a 4 for $400.  What a night and what a machine.

MikeA, I hit four aces 5 times this weekend, 3 with a kicker. Alas, it was my normal game of OEJs so they were only worth 75 credits each. On the other hand I did hit a RF and 4 WRFs and came out well ahead. These were all at the dollar level even though, according to our favorite banned member, only quarter players ever post here.

This past weekend I visited a local casino and had a "Fa La La La La.... La la la la Session".  Five quads in the first half hour including Aces.  Four came on quarters, one on fifty cent.  Played for a total of 45 minutes and left with $300.

My my you sound like you will be written up by our idol.
Got ahold of a hot cycle machine it seems. Good for you. And you left just like the rules spell out. Play your way not how the casino wants you to play. Hit and run.
I bet those special plays made those quads jump right out to surrender.
You might not be welcome in that casino any longer.
Congrats again on your win.
