for a small roadtrip from KC. Can anyone give me some info on VP and accomodations in the area. Went to CC years ago when there were no hotels just gaming and stayed in a great little motel in Idaho Springs but would like to be closer this time.
Thanks in advance

Here's a link to info on Black Hawk casinos:

Most of the larger casinos/hotels are in Black Hawk, but there are a few in Central City as well. There are a few Colorado players on this site so if you have questions about any of the places free to ask.

Thanks CD, any recommendations on where to stay and where to play? Looking for some quiet time also while in CC.

I live close enough to BH/CC that I just drive home when I'm done playing - it's been a couple of years since I've stayed overnight up there, so I couldn't give you a recommendation about where to stay.
As far as quiet time goes, you won't find much of it nowadays in BH/CC. They're really gaming towns and there's not much to do when you're not playing. They're still waiting for their first 7-11. Central City is a quieter place (less traffic) since there aren't as many casinos.
