Jeez faygo, I was just clocking out from work when you posted. Or lets see, subtract 3 hrs. time diff, that was 1/2 hr after my lunch when you posted. Just shaking off the Dr Pepper at that time. Per CD, I should bring chocolate covered coffee beans to snack on so everyone would be wired and antsy.

Six of us hail from state and attended countless basketball and football games, back when. You're better off not even asking about the flood of wonderful memories of times past that have resurfaced! Marie - you bet I'm on that "green" team.  Wish I had been in Vegas to make a bet on them.  Tried to get my host to do it for me, but, alas - against the rules!  Monday is goin to be nuts downtown - I'm staying home (in Warren).

redleg, Good to hear you are rooting for STATE! You're right, downtown will be a zoo tomorrow and I am staying away from casinos. Last time we were in Windsor, bets were being placed on the games for this weekend. However, blurb in the paper indicated NCAA asked Windsor to refrain from actually placing bets this weekend.'Used to live and work in Warren. Our son called today after he ran the half marathon in Dearborn. We were happy to hear he still has his position at the GM TECH Center in Warren.You know we are in scary times when both Jay Leno AND Dr Phil schedule FREE appearances in our area to help bolster morale, in their respective ways! I applaud them for their generosity! Hope others join this trend.MGM Detroit has a very cool, giant basketball atop a large black tubular pedestal with blue spot lights at their corner of Bagley and Third. What a clever contribution to the finals on their part!

Marie  -  Haven't seen MGMs giant basketball, since we come in to the casino from the North side.  Such a busy night for TV tonite;House, 24 (my favorite) heros and Medium, plus THE game.  VCR will be busy today.  Seen on LV Journal that MGM is going on the market.  Wonder who will buy it?  Will hit the casino tomorrow or Wed.  Go Green!!!!!!!!!!
