Lou, best of luck wherever your player card takes you here in Calif. Vido, I've been there 3 times in the past two years. I've never experienced any kind of hassles, problems or skepticism about the casino/tent there. As far as the violence goes, there's more shootings/violence here in Anaheim than have been there on the Soboba reservation that I can recall. So many go there not realizing that the casino lies on sovereign land and is regulated by FEDERAL laws. Don't go there looking for trouble cuz you're gonna find it. Doesn't seem like a big inventory but they've got close to 400 VP machines in various denoms.

Hey ED:

Wow, can't believe they have so many vp machines there.
That's crazy! It's been a while since I was there in the tent. I guess it's good they brought some vp machines in. There was a great 21 floor supervisor who was always really nice to be when I went.

Although I enjoyed soboba during the college years, it's just so far for me to drive. San Manuel I can deal with now that the 30 became the 210 and it's real easy for me (just take 101 to 134 to 210 and there in 65 mins.) for how far soboba is, I would rather go to Vegas.

have you had any luck there on the vp?

My luck there has been marginal at best. I can sustain several hours of play from a small bankroll there however. Can't say I've walked from there with more than I arrived with but break even works for me. Even when it was $4.50/gal, I still did OK there but Viejas and Valley View were my luckiest. I've hit a few quads at San Manuel but nothing bigger and never enough to sustain several hours of play either.

Hey, if you've got some lucky places, stick with 'em.

My problem with San Manuel is that it's either 7.50 or 12.50 a hand. It's really costly and you know how up and down tdb can be!

In lv, i've always had great luck @ suncoast!

Best luck on the Strip was at the Stardust B4 they blew it up. Outer locals places varied but seems like Sams Town and Fiesta gave me the best results thus far. I've hit practically all the locals places save for the Decatur corridor and far North, IE: Texas Station, Santa Fe, Red Rock and Fiesta Rancho. Haven't hit the smaller ones either, Barleys, Wildfire and Skyline. Plan to though. SouthPoint, marginal luck but great inventory. I judge my luck by how long I can play on my given bankroll, not on what I've hit in terms of big hands. If I play for the whole weekend and go home with the same amount including RFB, It's been a great weekend. Even losing my a$$ in LV is still better than losing it at an injun casino here in Calif.

bastards!

Ps: having any luck in the contest? my highest so far is 9500.
last night was dealt on the first line 4 to the royal and it was 8X payout. darn, that would have been nice if it had connected!

My boyfriend and I are constantly hitting Pechanga. I've hit countless quads there in a very short amount of time. One day, I hit 5 quads in under an hour. That was very cool! Anyhow, I've only recently begun studying the game so I have no idea if the pay tables at Pechanga are decent or not. We're planning on heading over there again in a couple of weeks, but based on what I've read here, maybe I'll see if I can talk the boyfriend into a night out at Valley View and / or Barona instead!

I worked at Soboba when it first opened as a high stakes bingo hall. It has a rep as having a lot of violence there, but I found the Soboba Indians to be warm and friendly. They opened a huge non-smoking area a couple of years ago and have a lot of VP in that room. Problem is you have to trudge through the smoking rooms to get to them. I think there is a shuttle that will take you to the rear entrance.
