Video Poker/Casino St. Maarteen

Headed to St. Maarteen in the Caribbean. Anyone know about the Dutch casinos and if any have Video Poker? Found Rouge et Noir via casino.com but email/information for casino is void. Will have a day on Dutch side and family wants to hit a casino to keep up the list of places we have played.

Hey Larry.  Was on that island and hit a couple of the casinos.  Very rinky dink.  They do have VP but they were all the old 90's coin operator ones.  Saw a bank of "Double Double $1"--you know the Red red sign with the yellow lettering.  They were the old slant top sitdowns with the sunken tray   that can fit your bucket in to catch the silver comming out.  Well the machines were merely JOB with a ****ty payschedule.  Check them out and enjoy the experience but don't expect much.  Also, I wouldn't bring a lot of money in any of these joints.  Unsavory types galore.  It aint Vegas

Thanks for the head's up. The Kids (ages 40-50) want to make an island casino. Did you enjoy the island?   Recommendations?

     Went to a very nice beach.  Clean, nice fun beach bar/atmosphere, great sand and water.  Can't remember if it was the Dutch side or not; all I remember is it is on the opposite side of the casinos/cruise ship port. Strongly suggest you go to that "side" of the island.  Enjoy.

111charlie111,Thanks for the response.  We are looking forward to spending some time at the beach but probably on the casino/Dutch side since the kids want to go to a beach and a casino.   Any other recommendations?  Did you visit while on a cruise or stay on the island?  LL
