I recently attended my first gift wrap at Windsor Caesars. There were loooong LINES. One to check in to get a copy of our reward credit balance that apparently I could have picked up earlier at the players club. There was another line to enter the door and another to check out after selecting merchandise. A 40 page booklet including pictures of offerings was handed out as we entered the huge ball room. A vast array of cool items were on display. The only item we could use in my "price" range was a cool Rikstick razor casterboard skate board we knew our 12 year old grandson would adore for Christmas. They ship out the items so I had it sent to his VA address. My only mistake was putting his name on the address. I only hope his parents intercept it before he does. A two day window was the only time we could redeem our points. The rest of my points were unusable/lost as they lack small ticket items to use up extra points. It's time consuming and was worthwhile to attend.

I have to say, AC Hilton has a better way to shop with your points. They have a store that you can go in and with a swipe of your card buy the items on display. Last trip I treated myself to a Flip Camera and a Diamond and Saffire Ring for Tanqueray.

I attended my first great gift wrap up at Flamingo Las Vegas on Nov. 12. It appeared to be chaos at first but once I got acclimated it was easy. There were lots of casino employees to assist in locating items and many manufacturer representatives to demonstrate their products. Check out was a breeze - 7 Stars went right to the front of the line with no waiting. I had my point total and shopping list prepared prior to going to Vegas so that made the process much easier. I give the Flamingo kudos for a well orchestrated event!
