O'sheas
I am going to Las Vegas in April and was wondering if O'sheas is still there. I read where they are going to take it down along with Harrah's.

I was there in November and it was still there. If you like it, I hope it stays, but if they tore down Harrah's it would be urban renewal in my opinion.

It's looking now as though there will be a trade of ownership of properties. Barbary Coast for Westward Ho. That would put Harrah's in the driver's seat (again) for that block at Flamingo and Las Vegas Blvd. The trade/sale is up before the authorities to approve/disapprove it. I think this has been something in the works for quite a while.

My brother lived in Vegas in the early 90's and Barbary Coast was the only casino on the Strip that he and his buddies would go to. He told me that the VP there was awesome-I haven't won squat there and I always stop in for a beer and some VP every year. But that part of the Strip is Flamingo country for me.

It's still there. If they decide to tear down that whole block I'm sure we will hear about it.
