Just wondering what other members feel about the Sands in Bethlehem.Been there quite a bit since it opened. The pay tables on VP certainly make me want to come back to the Vegas/Henderson area(I live in Bethlehem)and have made MANY trips to NV. Mt. Airy which is about 45 minutes away offers better paytables (on DDB) and other VP games. Table games may be six months away here but VP always seemed to fund my table game play.

I read an article recently about the Sands. I can't remember where (it may have been the la times). Anyway, it was talking about the joint and the architecture being inspired by the bygone Steel industry of the area.
If I remember correctly, it said the casino was not doing too well.

Sands and The Rivers in Pittsburgh are not doing what was projected. The other casinos in Pa are holding there own with meeting income levels. I was at The Meadows today and the place is not bringing in the people it once was. I feel they have tightened up all of the machines and for video poker they just dont pay out. To be honest I still think Atlantic City has better pay tables and pay outs.
