What strategy's do most people here use. Expert play or the Fa La La La La.... La la la la play where you advance in denomination and game violtility.
Any thoughts to which is better?

Care to explain a bit about what "Expert play" is?

Expert play. Play by the stategy sheets with no variation. Just gunning for the royal, playing only best  pay machines at only one denomination.

When you play a sufficiently large number of hands, you would get the Expected Return from the game. So, whether you play single or multi-play, after a sufficiently large number of hands, it should not make any difference.

But playing on a 100-play penny game (where the total max bet is $5), gets you to the "sufficiently large number of hands" faster than when you are playing a $1 single game, where the max bet is also $5.

It indeed is exciting to hold three Aces, or 4-to-a-Royal Flush, and watch the individual draws. Usually at thi stime, I turn off the Turbo button, so I can follow the action.

Learn ONE game well. Get a training program for your computer. When you get to 98% correct do not get happy because you are getting 2 hands per 100 wrong. Strategy for Jacks or better is vastly different fron DDB poker.

I've been playing MultiStrike on the LedGaming site since the game came out and a few times in casinos.   I'm not so sure about this RNG. A friend and I both plalyed for several weeks in the evenings for hours.  We made a chart of how many wins of each kind you got on each level and the difference is amazing.  On level one and two you got a fair no. of winning hands.   On the 4x and 8x level you seldom got anything...If, as the guru's say, each hand is controled by the RNG than the probability of a win should be the same on each level.  NOT SO.  Start keeping track and it will be an eye opener.   I've heard so many "theories" on the machines.  I think the RNG can be controled by programing in hands that will NOT win.  It is only Random is as much as the programer allowes it to be random.  I've played for YEARS and play for hours at a time and you will not convince me that machines are all the same.  Also I'm not convinced of the honesty and reliability of the industry...The Indian Casinos have few regulations and the Navada Casinos have there share of "inside" knowledge.

I agree with you kjmema about everything. The MultiStrike does not seem random at all on any level above line one. I stopped playing it for that reason.

I also am not convinced of the honesty and reliability of any casino.
Think about it the regulators work for the government.
Do you trust the government?   Are they the most honest people you know? Think about it.

You are right on Newbie.  Play at your own risk.  I went to an Indian casino in Miami Ok. and was playing next to my friend when she  got TWO 6 of hearts on one play.  I sort of shocked her when I said, "STOP".  I had been watching her play.  When she saw it she was furious and called over a manager.  They just shut down the machine...Also for those who are interested, my sis lived in Reno, NV for years.  She had several friends who worked for IGT, the largest makers of Gaming Machines in the World, which is headquartered in Reno.  You wouldn't believe the stories they tell about the secrecy in the programming dept.  They say it's guarded better than Fort Knox, and if it's all RNG and regulated then why the hush hush....So, why do I play?  Well, I'm careful where I play and what I play, and what I'm willing to loose.  If I win it's a fun plus but I don't go under the delusion that I'm going to win a cent.

Whoa! 2 six of hearts from a single deck game. Don't surprise me none.

I also think the machine has the ability to learn  your holds after a few minutes and then teases you with the 5 dealt cards, knowing which ones you will probably hold and then not giving you the draw cards you need.

Think about it. Can the flush and full house pay (example 8/5) really determine a machines payout percentage, with all the thousands of card combonations in a 52 card  deck.  We are being buffaloed here.

And this max coin thing is usually only helpful on the royal. So how many times have we hit a royal. Think about all those extra coins that go to the casino just to get us to shoot for the 1/40000 royal.

I rarely play max coins. I jump around using 1, 2, 3, 4 and five coins just to keep the machine off guard and I  sometimes hit a quad. But I don't just sit there playing max and go thru 10- 20 hands and not win sqat.
