Empire Club
I just visited the Empire Club in Yonkers, New York for the first time. I never saw so many slots and video poker machines in one place. I have been to Las Vegas and Atlantic City and I must say I was truly impressed. Not only that the place is expanding. 9/6 machines everywhere. Got to add this one to the machine finder!

I plan on visiting Yonkers in the near future to check out the racino and bet some races-but I hear that the place is beyond crowded. Friends have told me that on a Sat. nite you can't get near it. When I was betting harness racing exclusively(hadn't discovered casinos yet)and actually driving out there from north Jersey to watch it live-there were more employees and cops than gamblers. O how times have changed at the Hilltop. p.s. do the VP machines have the "genie" like they do at Monticello?

I was there on a Friday at 3:00 pm. The place was pretty quiet. I would bet on a Saturday night you could just barely move in the place. This place is so close to NYC you can see the skyline from front door, and yes the horse racing is an added attraction.

gdevino: What you see for paytables is just illusory. These machines are Class II. They are not "real" machines. See all the info on this website regarding these machines, which are called VLT's(video lottery terminals). Do not waste any money on these video poker machines. If these were legitimate machines than they would be included in the game finder.
