I went to Taj after work to collect some bonus cash and didn't really intend to play very long. In fact, I didn't intend to play at all, but Taj requires you to play 30 minutes to pick up some of their cash offers, so I decided to play a penny machine to last the 30 minutes without losing much money.
Well, I played the Blues Brothers Penny Game and was playing the 20 lines at one per line and hit diddly.. I got a drink from the cocktail waitress and continued playing. While fooling around with getting my lid open from my coffee, I didn't pay attention to what I was doing and ended up hitting bet max instead of respin with my 20 credit bet. I didn't realize this until I hit the bonus (15 free spins) I ended up getting a re-trigger FOUR TIMES so I ended up with 75 free spins at max bet. During the 2nd re-trigger, I hit 4 blues brothers symbols and a blues brother guy (forget which one..) With that hit and the several other hits on various lines I had won 87,000 pennies on that spin alone... WOOHOO!! The bonus ended with over 100,000 credits and a cool cashout of $1000.
That took about 20 minutes of my time, so I still had to play something else to get my bonus cash, so on to Super Times Pay Poker...
I put $100 in the 25-cent DDB Five Play Super Times Pay. I was doing very well, hitting some good hands with the multiplier (full house X8, dealt a straight X5) and 2 quads (8's and J's.) Then I got "my hand.." It was a multiplier hand X5 and it dealt me the following.. A, A, 5, 6, A. The 4th hand gave the the 4th ace for a 4000-coin payout! Cashed out at a cool $1100.
All in all, quite a trip considering I didn't even want to stay and play (especially after working 11 hours..)

My husband used to be addicted to that Blues Brothers game! We got the "Jackpot" once but we were only playing 3 coins a line-still it was for $300. That game can suck you dry though if you dont get the bonus! Great job at STP! We had another losing trip this weekend. One exciting hand was getting dealt a straight flush on 3 line DDB --no multiplier tho. Got a few decent hits on JW but no 5oak's. the guy next to me was playing 50 cent 5 line DDB and got 4 8's dealt to him with the multiplier--cant remember what it was but it was a handpay--thats the only handpay I saw all weekend! I did rack up enough points (hubby too) to each get a really nice entertainment system they were giving away since friday. We also checked out the Maharajah club. the shrimp cocktail is outsanding and the crab cocktails was good too. the food was about the same as the Presidents club and I thoguht the Pres Club had better desserts. they have an open bar too! The seats are more comfortable than the Pres club and they had a nice area with a couch and TV. We may have to skip a few weeks to get together another bankroll, but we already have 3/10 booked as they are having triple cashback including VP!Well it certainly was worth playing the 1/2 hr to pick up your cash!

I keep hearing from my friends up here that the Taj is the place-I just have this idea in my head that the Donald's casinos are not exactly the nicest in town-my last trip to the Marina was a few years ago and I guess it's time to check out the Taj. Had planned on going down President's Day weekend, but things have slowed to a crawl at work and I'm not making enough right now to afford a trip down below. I really want to go down-I have a really good cigar I have been saving for the casino(oh the horror-I'll probably kill six helpless casino workers with it)but at the moment it's not happening. Great job Mike and keep us posted on the never-ending saga of the casino smoking ban or lack thereof.
