Has anyone or anyone heard of anyone ever hitting the Reversible Royals?

What is that, like A,2,3,4,5 suited.
That should pay like a royal, in my book.

Reservable Royals are usually dollar machines in which if you make 10-J-Q-K-A; or the reverse (A-K-Q-J-10) suited in that order, it pays usually 50,000:1 (at least it does in my house at Boulder Station).
I've never seen it hit but man I'm sure if I was dealt a reversable royal it would surely be declared a malfunction!!!

There are 120 possible arrangements of 5 cards. There are two reversible royals, aka sequential royal in either direction, which means that only 1 in 60 of the total RFs will be reversible.
Personally, I have had two in my life, alas none where it mattered. You often see this game with a progressive on the sequential RF so I know they are hit because the progressives are reset every now and then.

As far as I know the Grand casino in Tunica does'nt have reversible royals given this and the fact that the poker machines are totally random what happens to the extra money when a machine did hit a reversible royal? After all you will only get $4,000. Are the odds different on the machines that pay these type of royals?

A 1 in 60 chance for these hands means they occur approximately one time in every 2.4 million hands. Little is added to the expected return even with a large payout since it is spread out over so many hands. However, this payout is typically added to relatively poor games (8/5 DDB for example) as a gimmick to attrack gamblers. Occasionally, you will see a decent game. The games are still random and if the jackpot is 50000 coins you will get $50K if you hit it (not $4K and not both).
You can find these games in many denoms, not just dollars.

I was dealt TJQKA of diamonds at Tuscany a couple of years ago playing 10-7 DB. Of course, it paid the same as any RF but it was quite a site.
Last month, while playing the .25 Seq RF progressive (aces & eights) at Circus Circus I was dealt (TJQK)S. For some reason the JD decided to make an untimely appearance instead of the AS costing me $35K.
By the way, when a seq RF gets this high it can cause some strategy changes. For example, you hold A-T instead of just the Ace when both cards are in Seq positions.

I have had 2 in my lifetime. One netted me an extra $1K because the casino had a house rule of 1,000 credit bonus for the reversible royal and I was playing $1 denom. However, the other one was treated just like any other royal --- no bonus, no fanfare, and a big "duh" when I pointed out the sequence.
I would advise asking aggressively about a possible unposted bonus before the royal is cleared from the machine, because frequently the slot attendants are the last to know about special house policies, and --- as Shadowman said --- reversibles occur so rarely that it would not be expected that a given attendant would have ever seen one before.

YES! YES! YES! Always check on that! Hit my first sequential royal last year at a place that pays a bonus, and almost didn't get the bonus - their systems don't "flag" sequential royals. This royal was on $.50 play, and it wasn't until they'd collected my ID and were off doing the W-2G that I noticed the royal was sequential. I walked over to the person doing my paperwork and pointed it out, and they re-did the papers. Changed my $2000 winner to a $4000.
Now, if they gave out bonuses for most un-sequential royals - NO cards in the right place - I'd be one happy camper.
