Have done ok a couple times at the isle on vp poker on the boat to the left as you walk in. The problem in lake charles your always in the hole. I have been there many times and its just to tough to win even if your playing the games correct. They know a lot a people just come out on the weekend with 100 between mom and dad  get a free buffet and drinks for free so they spend there 50 apiece on the slots or video poker if they lose no big deal. Hell to go out to a place to eat and a couple of drinks and a tip cost you 100 now days so there happy. So the casinos know this so they can keep the machines tight, heck what else is there to do in lake charles anyway. At least in vegas there is still some competition between the smaller casinos for the gamblers action.Good gamblers will not play at a bad casino. Where the weekend warrior is just happy to have a few drinks and have a good time.
