My advice to everyone: hop on those free flights to casinos if you can, as the next offer or so may start charging for spouse flight or both flights. This has happened in my case.

That's because you try and smuggle fruit in and out of Canada.

Time for a name change and new reputation, here! HOW was I supposed to know  those grapes my hubby bought at Meijers were from Chile? Poor border guard will nevah be the same! (repeat warning to all: $300 fine for first illegal item entering the states (from Canada, in my case) and $500 for the second time! if they decide to enforce it. Ignorance of the law will most likely NOT stand up in court! (but you may as well try it if you have nothing else! )We were possibly facing $18K in fines for a handful of baby carrots, grapes and 2 1/2 clementines - one was bruised beyond being edible and thought we had tossed it. 'WHY DID YOU LIE AND SAY YOU HAD TWO CLEMENTINES WHEN YOU HAVE THREE OF THEM?) That $18K would work for a bunch of casino bank rolls!

Hi, Everyone,I just got an offer from Beau Rivage from Austin to Biloxi early April.  Charter plane full of gamblers.  Anyone else going?Could be fun!  There used to be (and maybe still is) a free shuttle between the various casinos so you don't have to spend and win only at Beau Rivage.Sunshine, beaches and free transportation.  I don't take them up very often on their offers but I need a vacation.

I take a free flight frequently from St Pete FLA to the Beau in Biloxi. The green "Casino Hopper" runs up and down Ocean Blvd in Biloxi to several casinos. It is not free - cost is about $1.25 one way, I think. Weather should be nice.

Got the same offer. SweetC and are considering trip from Houston later in the month. Daughter goes every few months and is already booked for same April trip. We enjoy the 90 minute flight to Biloxi. Quicker than driving 2 hours to Lake Charles and everything is well executed arriving and departing. Luggage taken directly to the room. Be prepared for early luggage pick up day of departure. Don't forget to check out VPFree data base for Biloxi and take the shuttle to other casinos for better pay tables.

BTW: Which way do you head from Austin to gamble?   North to OK, NE to Shreveport or East to Lake Charles?

Lucky Larry,I seldom gamble - it's a 5 1/2 hour trip to Lake Charles and I don't like driving it alone.  I might make a trip every year or so to Vegas and I used to go to Lake Charles with my brother but he doesn't go anymore.None of my friends can make this trip but I think I'll go anyway.  Could be fun.  Maybe I should book my trip tonight if the plane is getting full.Oh, yes, I went to Winstar once and really didn't care for it.  The beach might be fun also at Biloxi.

I think you will have a good time and might make some new friends. Not sure how the current booking is going but they have booked within a couple of days in the past.

Can you imagine how much fun we'll have when we finally get casinos in Austin, San Antonio, Corpus, Galveston, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Dalhart and other parts of Texas?

Best Wishes if you go.
