I am planning a trip next month where my half-way point is Chicago - Thought about staying for a few days at Harrah's Joliet as I can get several nights comped - Does anyone know how the video poker is there or have any other suggestions as to a Casino stop in the area?Thanks!

Hello Garfield,
Harrah's Joliet is a nice property,good hotel rooms,restaurants & ambiance.The VP there leaves something to be desired,however.While there is a good assortment of games & even quite a bit of single line .25 machines,their paytables are some of the poorest in the Chi area.Adding to that I haven't had a positive session there in quite some time(irrelevant,I know.) If you're staying there,a quick trip to Hollywood Joliet would be in order if Harrah's is relieving your gambling stake at a feverish clip.
