Hello WebmanThank you for your post.  I have read your post several times, searching for common ground to build upon.It appears to me that we are in agreement that certain games are better choices in the daily contest, for the reasons that you have stated.  So there is the common ground. When I go to a casino I see it as an adversarial situation between me and the casino.  We both have money, and we both want each others money.  It is fair in that we both realize the roll that we both are playing. At VP.com what does the person want that is visiting your website? As a rough guess, such people, including myself, are seeking out fun, entertainment, education, people to talk to about strategies.  We hope to find support, positive thinking, and encouragement for our pursuit of the game of VP.AT VP.com it appears to me that in looking just as the contests, you are taking the position of an adversary to the contestants.  By this I mean that you do not want to let contestants know which games they should play to maximize their score.  You want them to reason this out for themself. It is my perspective that this policy of keeping it a secret as to how to win a contest is not in the best interest of the contestants.  But, what advantage does it give to VP.com?Contestants should not need to read topics within the forum to find out what conventional wisdom has to say about playing the contests.  VP.com should do everything they can to make all players as competitive as they want to be in achieving success in the contests offered at VP.com or elsewhere.Perhaps, you need to start a topic, in which you explain what is the mission statement of VP.com for I am surely not sure whose side VP.com is on.

It is certainly not our objective to be anyone's adversary in contests. We offer a variety of games and people can choose to play whichever they wish. I didn't realize there was any suspicion of secrecy in what the best approach is. People will have different opinions on that. I think the fact that all the pay tables are clearly visible is enough information for everyone to be on equal footing. One could say the same thing about hold strategy... do you always go for a royal flush in a contest, even if it's the incorrect hold in standard strategy? Some would say yes, that gives you the best odds in a contest. Others might disagree. These are all things that people are welcome to discuss, but there is no official best way to play. We encourage people to play however they want to in the contests.
