Marie, did you notice if Rivers had 25 cent single line vp machines?  I read that some of the vp machines were down for conversion and was hoping that they were bringing in 25 cent machines.  Thanks! After losing too much, too fast on $ play at Rivers, I failed to find some single line VP machines in lower denom and ended up playing several gimmicky machines that I had vowed to leave alone. RIVERS ought to realize there are many other casinos in the area and try harder to equal the competition. GFY to win back and come out ahead!

I had heard that Rivers was a bad experience as far as VP wins.......  I think Rivers is out to hit the business people who fly into nearby O'Hare. Many upper class hotels are nearby.I have to agree with you as it seemed that way to me, also.

Just came back from Harrah's Joliet and was disapointed to find that they do not offer any .25cent JOB machines.  They did offer JOB sequential royals with a 6/5 payout which was very poor.

Welcome to forum and your very first post, tierscore! I only played the one lucky winning machine on my first visit to Joliet Harrah's. There was a bank of six machines, back to back. As I looked up over my left shoulder the BLU of BLUE BAR neon lighting lettering was visible, end machine. The pay table for $ denom was better than that for the .25 and .50 play. I understand the rationale of the casino, to generate more peeps playing at the $ level, but do not approve. However, I see this same policy at many casinos out to get us.

Hello Marie,

Thank you for the warm welcome.  It looks like I will be making my 2nd trip out there the day after xmas as I am running out of time to get Diamond status.  Thank you for pointing out where I can find a good machine to cycle through my $$$ through.
Happy Holidays..
