Happy Days are Here Again! Thank You, Joliet
Today, my first $20 turned into $7G! I had $7.50 left when I saved three clubs and a royal smiled on me. .25 single line, TDB, Game Maker in front of BLUE BAR. I switched to $ play. That royal was disappearing all too fast so I switched to .50 and four aces provided a hand pay of $2G. While awaiting payment, I returned to $ play and hit awaks again for $4G. 9/6 on $ play but only 8/5 on .25 and .50.
Many thanks to vp.com members who have posted favorably about playing VP at Harrah's Joliet. This was our first visit and the only machine I played there for an hour and half.

Thanks, Larry. We are riding out the cold, wet and wind here in Chicago for a week while son is here on business. Either due to being my first visit or my VP play, the casino gave me four nice crystal wine glasses, $25 free play, $20 restaurant voucher AND a free night that we probably cannot use. I had lost my Chicago bankroll when we stopped at Gun Lake casino before leaving Michigan. Hubby caved and handed me $100 for the casino and said we could play there for two hours. (!)

marie,
I had to laugh. It is not a pretty sight watching a grownup pout over a lost bankroll when the other still has money. So Sweet C and I share whatever is left in our own $ to not have to deal with the tears.
I remember something in our wedding vow about " for richer or poorer!!!" but didn't realize it meant gambling too.
We've had the wind but as dry as Texas has been we'd graciously take the rain too.
Investment advice: invest in hay futures!!! Hundreds of 18 wheelers are coming into the state daily bringing bales of hay from out of state at over $150/bale.

Many thanks, luigi1, edog, Okathy and Larry. "What a feeling" when that dry spell is OVER! There is a good reason why I have not been posting wins lately. There's also a possibility $100 might last me about five min. After two hours of play, I am just getting warmed up for a loooong session. Hubby doesn't understand these concepts.

This was my home casino for many years and I always enjoyed the VP there.
