Vegas winning...

Post by kjohn »

Had a wonderful 2 1/2 days in Vegas with a girlfriend..We stayed at RR, comped room and food, and rented a car for two day, visiting 3 other casinos..Not bad for two gals in their 70's..Did I write 70? Good grief my birthday is still a few days away..At any rate we ventured north to Aliante as I'd never been there.OK place and we ate lunch at the Feast which was better than RR by far..Played a bank of full pay but had my eye on a $1 progressive...Just had to try it and glad I did

If the pictures don't come through I'll try again..The first hit was the AAAA2 for $2300..Cashed out $2800
The second was a dealt SF on a $.50 TP..Very pretty...

Hit this little beauty which put me way ahead.
Off to GVR the next day, lunch at the M...Their machines have gone way downhill..so we didn't play long. Back to RR where my stack of $$$$ was eating a hole in my pocket..I tried to be good but you know how that goes...Hit this little sweetie and played the machine UP to $800

There was this TD$ progressive with the AAAA2 @ $4200+ and the royal was over $4700...Just had to try for it..So in went $100..Hit 4ok right off. Put in another hundred and hit 3333A..Now i'm up $1000..Should I cash out..Of course but did I cash out..LOL Put one more hundred in and hit 4 more 40k...Ran that crazy machine to $2100 and cashed out at $2000. Never had a dollar machine run up that fast. It was late and we had a 6AM flight so I grabbed my money and headed for the room..Now I wonder if I should have stayed and tried for the jackpots, but $2000 was a nice return on my money...Actually brought money home. I do love Vegas...

Congratulations!  I'm so glad you had a great time.  Had I known you were going to the M, I would have made sure I wore my "I love videopoker.com" shirt while lurking....

Hey Mightwin..We'll be back in Feb..Maybe I should get one of those shirts or at least a hat and we could "lurk" together...I was disapointed with the machines at M..They switched the few I liked for the Video slots. May not play there anymore...:(

Hi LL...Birthday in Feb. 22. Me and old George Washington....The kids wanted to give me some sort of a party but I told them I'd rather be in Vegas..How have you and Sweet C. been. I watch your posts and it seems you are still having fun at the machines. My sister has moved to Houston so I may get there at some pt. If so I'll email you and give you a call...

Those hits were fun..My friend and I sat side by side at some triple play machines and between us got 12 AAAA.None with the Kicker but it sure was fun...We had some great machines..."Random" was working for us...:)
