Do real life machines auto-hold a dealt Royal?

I got a dealt royal at the Plaza a couple of weeks ago and I'm pretty sure it did not auto-hold.

If its IGT it should auto hold, not sure about other companys.

Hey Olds, I had a dealt royal on the slants about 4 weeks ago for 1000 dollars playing quarters where I last seen u in the sky at bizzare world. It auto held. IGT gaming corp.
