Foxwoods  video poker (reward card)(wild card)ect.ect.ect.ect. every $340 spent(on video poker ) get one dollar to spend on what ever, your right the times have changed, for every two points you get can trade in for 1dollar in cash. I thought Mohegan had done away with points on video poker but guess not. I like Foxwoods so have not been to Mohegan for atleast 4 years, they have new machine  in some areas i have won on them but used to old machine, don.t like change. LOL!! Good luck which ever casino you play. Sam

after many month hiatus decided to venture back to mohegan sun..went twice in last week..played exclusively in wind casino...long story short vp is worse than ever there...in those 2 sessions lasting 5 and 7 hrs respectively i did not draw a single 4 of a kind off a pair or 3 of a kind draw...bailed out of session one when down to 40 bucks from 600.00 dealt aces w/kicker on super double double for 500.00....couldnt get out of there quick enough....last nite went thru 800.00 in quarters..one 4 of a kind on 5 card redraw..other than that no 4 of a kind...im the idiot for not getting out ...the vp is unplayable..with their revenues way down is just seems that the machines are "wound up" tighter than ever...its a shame cause i normally enjoy playing but when machine after machine is not coming close to hitting anything it is a waste of time and $..so a word of caution to anyone going to mohegan or thinking of going to mohegan be prepared to contribute

Hope they don't downgrade the full pay 25 cent Bonus Poker at Resorts AC, when they fully take over. There's not much left worth playing on the boardwalk in quaters anymore.

I learned of Mohegan Sun point dropping in Nov. 2011. I was furious. I was a Sachem cardholder. Complained to my host and wrote letter to CEO.  received a letter and  phone call from CEO. He said that rather than change payout on their vp machines, they would not give points. I told him that my $5 in a poker machine was as good as a slot player's $5 Too bad I liked their vp machines and I enjoyed my points because I like to shop. Needless to say I returned to Foxwoods and early of 2012 and was welcomed back. Had a few small wins all year. But so far this year I've had over 30K in taxable wins. NOT BAD for one month.

When I go to the Mohegan sun, I play 5 play multi strike almost exclusively. I used to be sagamore club. Now I can't even reach wolf club. The quarter 5 play multi strike machines used to give one point per 140 dollars. Now it's 420. The regular slots used to give one point for every 100 dollars, now it's every 300.
This is hurting every one including the vendors because the patrons don't have the points to spend for merchandise, food etc. Once the patrons figure whats going on they are going to do what I did. Go to the Foxwoods. I have also noticed that Twin river is also very busy now.

I would go to Foxwoods more often myself, but I cannot find any 9/6 JOB quarter games there.  They also make you play 10 coins to get paid the correct amount for the Royal for many of the games now.  The closest I can to come to a decent paytable there is the 100 play games at the 10 cent level for Joker Kings. They also ruined the paytable on Double Down Stud compared to Mohegan. If you can find any good paytable games at Foxwoods, please let me know since I only have to drive another 15 minutes to go there.  It really hurts about the points situation at Mohegan. I was lucky enough to get upgraded by one of the higher ups to Sagamore based on play not points, but everything is changing as to tier structure come Oct 1, and nobody knows what will be the next disaster for VP players yet.
