slander???  wtf   When I say a machine is rigged, I base it on my objective evidence of extremely BAD play results (like the aforementioned poster at the Mohegan who had 500 plus hands with NO quads or anything else much good
Oh my goodness!  A whole 500 hands without a quad, so the machine must be rigged?

not quite sure where this belongs regarding mohegan sun....i received offer from REVEL in the mail last week..i have never been there...never contacted them...obviously someone at mohegan sun sold my name to REVEL....free room(one nite)..100.00 food and 500.00 free slot play...has anybody else on this forum who currently or in the past played at mohegan sun received a similar offer..since my unofficial boycott of mohegan sun in april i have not gone but once or twice...i used to go all the time and was "sagamore"until they pulled points on many vp machines...i object to my name being "sold" and its either policy from the top at mohegan sun or some "suit" is making deals on the side..i dont know if i am going to take the offer as a/c is 5 hrs drive and im a smoker and i understand REVEL is a non smoking facility....but 500.00 free play is tempting

I suggest taking the bus out of Hartford, it is about 60 bucks roundtrip plus you get a 25 dollard casino slot credit so the total cost is actually less than 60.  You get to relax on your way to and fro, and you can schedule your return trip as many as 3 business days out so you can stay more than 1 night if you want.  If smoking is truly a block for you, you can always do most of your gambling and eating at another AC property, just use the Revek for the 500 free play and free room (and just step outside in the morning for your wake up smoke, and at night for your go to bed smoke.)   or better yet, quit and get some nicotine gum, you'll live longer and save lots of money! But give AC a shot, I am from the same general area as you and I made the effort 4 years ago, and I have been going about 1-2 times a month since....Mohegan and Foxwoods are on the decline, and I dont trust the Connecticut regulatory authorities nor the indians themselves.  They shot themselves in the foot by going into huge debt 6 years ago JUST before the crash, and now they are faced with oblivion and are desperate.  Foxwoods' tribe (the Pequots) recently stopped giving all its tribal members the 100,000 dollar yearly allowance, as well as 100% free food and living quarters and now requires that they all work in some capacity either for the corporation or elsewhere.   Rumor has it the healthcare and educational benefits are next to go!   it's actually quite sad....

I actually received a letter from a Revel VP, inviting me to come there. I had been to AC once up to that point. When I had a poor experience just stopping by for a visit @ Revel when I was in AC recently, I sent an EMail to the VP that had written me. In less than 30 minutes, the VP called my home phone (I live in FLA) to discuss the issues.

What that says to me is that hosts from other property groups, such as Caesars/Harrahs and MGM, are coming to work @ Revel with player's lists under their arms when they arrive. If they have an ex-Mohegan Sun person, perhaps the same story.

billyjoe.....thanks for your reply...your explanation of hosts moving to new casino would make sense..i am still undecided about the offer i received..honestly,being a smoker the idea of not being able to smoke while banging away bothers me..from what ive been hearing from some vp buddies both mohegan and foxwoods machines are wound tighter than a drum especially 4 of a kind frequencies...as is always the case if your at the right machine at the right time you can get lucky and hit but in general a couple of people have told me they are cycling thru the money much quicker than in the past..i must admit i do miss the action but i have to feel like ive got a chance and at those 2 places that feeling is absent..anyway im deciding tommorrow about revel as i have time available next week so if im going to try them out then it will be next week

Im a loyal taj player but I also received that revel offer which I am tempted to take even though my husband and I both like to smoke while gambling. (500 and 100 in food is almost too good to pass up!) I have a question about the offer. It says $500 with a revel card. Does that mean I can get the card and the macthing tier level and introductory slot dollars this trip and when I book the room with new offer will I still get the 500?
