Isle Lake Charles Crown Sold/Moved
The Isle of Capri Lake Charles' second boat, 'Isle Crown" and its license have been sold to Shreveport's new Margaritaville Casino Resort. The boat was moved Tuesday and will be resold and not used in Shreveport where a new casino barge is being constructed.

Larry, what does the new GM have in mind moving forward? Is he just going to stay with the one boat or are there plans in the works for an all new larger barge?

We're planning on being over at Isle Tuesday, March 6 and back home Wednesday. If you can make the trip I would enjoy meeting up and we can make arrangements to meet.

From what the GM and Director of Operations have told me Isle Corp sold the license for the Crown to concentrate resources on the Grand Palais. They are hoping to renovate and gain market share as a result. So far they have replaced all the carpet. Renovated and upgraded each floor and tentative plans are to renovate the Tower Hotel.
