You will probably be well-pleased with that location on the strip! I used to enjoy playing VP there and they have handy fassst food court in the back portion including McDonald's and Subway. You can take tram from Excaliber (across Tropicana from NY) to Mandelay Bay and points between. If no car, you can catch a shuttle at Mandelay Bay to Green Valley Ranch. Check out free Las Vegas shuttles on the net for current info even if you have a car while there. It's easier to make copies of some shuttle schedules before you leave home. Monorail from MGM to Sahara (Sahara closed in 2011, but has monorail station) $5 for one ride, $14 for one day pass, $30 for 3 day pass. Check out The DEUCE double decker bus on the net. $7 for a 24 hour pass and $15 for a three day pass. It travels from Fremont St downtown to the S end of the strip and back. Exact change!  GL, may you win BIG and report your wins back to us!PS: IF anyone will be in Vegas on TUES FEB 28, you might wish to join in a free b'day celebration at Bill's lounge for BIG ELVIS, Pete Vallee, 10 years, 7K performances! Includes guest performers, prizes, cake and fun. Check him out on the net and on U tube. He's VERY entertaining! Bill's is located across from Bally's at Flamingo and the Strip.
