Has anyone been? I read about it on another forum and it sounds like they are going after the younger partying crowd . Their casino floor is smaller than the Taj. Lots of restaurants and lounges/clubs. Ill probably take a look but I doubt i will play there.

I`m going to check it out this weekend. But I heard that there is no buffet or players lounge. Let`s see what the machines and payscales look like.

I was there on April 24th. Will probably not go back. Poker machines scattered throughout the casino. Did not find any 9/6 25 cents job. 8/5 was the best I could find. Part of the casino looks out at the ocean which is very nice. Valet costs 10.00 until you earn 1000 points. 1 point is equal to 100.00 played, It totally ticks me off to pay for valet. There are lots of restaurants and bars. Don't know how the smoke free environment will work with the younger crowd. I loved not having to smell or be exposed to smoke. I did not get a nice feeling being in the casino and will probably not go back.

Welcome to Forum Alexis 1205 ! From what I hear from friends that have been there. I'll have to agree. So I`ll just sit and what untill they change their policies to caterer to the Atlantic City market.

HOLY COW! What a total........surprise?!!??? just kidding folks......anyone who has seen or been to this 2.4 billion dollar boondoggle the past year could have seen this coming ..... this will actually help them survive another year, but it will never never never ever be the smash success they fantasized it would be when they revived the half built project three years ago.....

Yeah - who didn't see this coming...
Officials of the Revel casino in Atlantic City said the resort has reached an agreement with its lenders to proceed with Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection filing to reduce its debt. "This restructuring positions Revel for long-term success by providing the company with the operational flexibility to invest in the growth of our business," said Michael Garrity, Revel's chief investment officer.
