Headed to Biloxi Updates

Post by Lucky Larry »

Sweet C and I are headed to Biloxi and staying at Beau Rivage. Been over a year so any updates from VPFree or updates on video poker would be appreciated.

Lucky Larry,I was there in April when I won quite well.  However, I did not win anything on the 50 or 100 play 5 cent or 10 cent.  I did fairly well on the deuces wild bonus at the very back left as you walk into the casino.  There are a few rows of 50 and hundred play and then behind them going left are several rows of other game kings.  Immediately to their right is a bank of deuces wild machines which have numerous kinds of deuces wild on them.  They all played fairly well.  Hit four aces with a deuce for $400 on several of the machines and hit deuces a few times.  Played quarters, 50 cent and dollars - went up and down according to how they were playing.   They were fun.  I also managed to play a long time even if I didn't hit anything big on the machines.Good luck on your trip.

Thanks for the input. Glad to hear you had a good time and hit. Besides DW and Deuces Bonus are there other Deuces games (Double Bonus DW, Double Deuces, ) I probably need to practice some of the other versions of Deuces since we don't have them on the machines in Lake Charles.

Thanks again.

Larry...............The pay tables at Beau Rivage are horrible.
You would do well to go around the corner to the IP .  Better pay tables.
Good Luck

leakysqueaky,I agree - the pay tables are terrible.  I didn't go to the IP this time.  Just went to the Grand Biloxi and Beau Rivage.  The pay tables at Grand Biloxi and at Beau Rivage are not good; you are so right.  Fortunately, I did very well on them - got lucky. As for more deuces wild games - the Beau has double double bonus deuces wild, double bonus and other deuces wild games on the bank I mentioned earlier.  Each machine had five or six deuces games on them.  One of the games had a deuces with joker or something like that.  I only played Illinois deuces and deuces wild bonus.  Can't practice all the variations of deuces and remember each of them well.  I didn't have any luck playing at the bar at Beau Rivage (too nasty) but I did playing at the Grand early afternoon while the machines were still fairly clean.  Caught 4 three's playing double double bonus for $400.00 on a dollar one-line machine.  I decided after losing for a while playing quarters that I'd try dollars (the pay tables were better) and hit on $20.00.  So, where's the logic?I'm going in mid-July - just got the offer for their shuttle trip out of Austin.  I would prefer to go to Vegas but can't resist the free airplane and room.  Should be pool weather by then.Good luck to both you and Sweet C.

We know but the cash offer was too good to pass up. We even passed up a free flight to match the days. We haven't been in over a year so we need to re-up our play to keep offers.

opaline,
Thanks for the additional information. One of the times maybe we can meet at BR. I checked the schedule but the Austin flights don't seem to match up with Houston flight offers to BR.    Best wishes on the July trip.

Going to be there myself next week, Mon-Fri, 5/14-5/18, staying at the Beau. Golf on Tues, Wed and Thurs. Usually hit The Grand and The Palace when I am there, in addition to the Beau. VP paytables @ the Beau are not their strong suit, but they do have a variety of machines and games to play. Don't miss the single-line progressive $0.25 bank over in the back in the non-smoking area near the poker room. Lots of TDB around the floor on multi-line, multi-denom machines, which of course, is my fav.

Good luck on your visit.

We just got back from a fun week in Biloxi.  Stayed at the Beau and the Palace.  Found some 9/5 machines at the Palace.  The entire property is nonsmoking which we really enjoyed.  Larry, we too can't pass up the generous comps offered by the Beau Rivage.  The pay tables aren't the greatest but the hotel is beautiful and they treat us very well.  We didn't have any great luck this trip, but had a great time.  It's nice being by the ocean in Biloxi.  There's a casino "hopper" shuttle between all the casinos that runs every 15minutes.  Rides are $1.25 per person.  The new Margaritaville casino is supposed to be open soon.  Boomtown casino had a nice variety of machines.  Hope you have a good time and win big!
