Biloxi for free is too good to pass up. The free flight makes up for the poor pay tables...I like the quarter progressive in the back corner also and of course triple play machines...We have an offer for the end of July. I like playing the triple play at IP. they have a bank of 8 machines in the main section of the casino. It's right next to some penny slots and the people who play those are a riot..They go nuts if they win $5.....We went to the Palace just to see the property since the company my husband worked for built it, but I only saw one bank of VP on the way out...May have missed something. Are there more machines there. The buffet at IP is wonderful. We get that for free so always eat there for the seafood dinner..LL have fun and take home some money.

Hi,I'm going on the free flight to the Beau in mid July.  I just got a $500 coupon in the mail from Beau to shop at the Spirit of Summer promotion.  You get shopping vouchers for their shops either from June 19 - July 1 or July 13 - 15.  As I am going to be there for the July 13 - 15 shop event, I'll see about shopping at their very expensive stores.  Oh, it includes their Everything's $10 boutique, the fallen oak golf shop, bellini men's apparel, the jewelry box and all the rest - too many to list.  Anyone else get this promotion?  What do you think the catch is?  Besides the fact you have to be there to use the $500?  I've never gotten one of these before.  If it is really "free" money, I just might pick up some xmas presents.Kjohn,I'll check out the IP and give their triple play a shot in July.  I've only been there once and didn't do well.  Maybe this time.I'll try out the buffet at IP - it has to be better than the Beau's.  I was pretty disappointed in it last time.  Maybe it was a bad day for the chefs?Good luck

kjohn,
Thanks for the input. We've heard the IP buffet was really good so we hope to make it. The BR's Free Play is really generous plus our daughter has great free-play for us to use during the same time. Wish you the best in July. We'll probably check out several others since we have a little cash free play at several. Plus we want to talk to some of the Isle people to find out more about the upcoming Golden Nugget take over.

Just got back a few weeks ago and we always stay at the Grand because its Harrahs but to play I normally walk over to the Isle.  I will say while the Beau has some of the worst paytables its the only place I have ever worn on several occasions.  I used to pay the better pay tables and always ended up at the Beau or HR.  I'd say might as well play there cause paytables don't matter much if your not winning period.

Pulled myself out of a hole 3 times doing this.  Hit AWAK at the HR in highlimit.  And hit AWAK on TDB at the Beau and a Royal at the Beau.  All times after spending hours on the good paytables at the IP or Isle.  Now I just go straight to the machines that pay and skip the getting in the hole part lol.  But in fairness Beau is the only one that I found that has TDB.  They also have a few games I can't get locally so its fun to play.  Like Joker + Dueces and SDDB+ which is like DDB but in referse with so you want Faces instead of 2,3,4 as kickers and quads.  Oh and I like ACE/Deuce + which is fun.

Enjoy your trip.

Chrome,
Thanks for the update. We usually play Isle because on our past trips the Isle has had better low denomination pay tables. We have access to SDDB and its not as volatile of TDB-love when those faces come up.
