playign video poker tomorrow at revel new to this

Post by jerzeyzfynest »

hello im very familiar with table texas hold em poker. im going to revel tomorrow, and i want to play video poker. i been to nevada on vacation and there casinos to play at a table the wait was so long i dont have that much time. i been lookign into the machines and im not sure whats the best one to play.

im looking for a cheap penny machine that $50 can get me a few hours. there is so many i have been lookign up to choose from. i just want regular single 1 line poker. they have duece wild job etc. too many i am not sure whats the best and most easiest one to give a try. a few friends of mine that go once a week are usually go with $50-$100 and come out with $300-$1500 all the time. not expecting to do the same but would be nice. what is the poker machine thats best for me to get me a few hours that does win thats not complicated. i was hoping when i heard the term video poker it meant table poker on a machine. same texas hold em except instead of sittign at a table its the exact same thing at a machine. turns ou ti think im wrong.

i also would go to get the black card and how i apply. i hear it has many benefits free poker play with points free rooms occasionally not that i would use them winners go off every so often as long as your card is in a machine at the time. i appreciate the help

Jerzey, if you play Texas Hold 'Em in live poker, be aware that there is a table game (not a machine or video poker) called Ultimate Texas Hold 'Em. You are playing against the dealer - not the others at the table. Problem is, the dealer never folds.

As far as a good video poker game to play, I am probably the wrong person to give you a recommendation.

I do know somebody, though, who recently took a short trip to the Harrah's Cherokee Casino in NC, and played six hours with a $40 investment on a single line $0.25 Jacks or Better video poker machine - and won money.

jerzey, I don't believe you will find any penny VP machines in AC. I have never seen any but stand to be corrected. I have also never seen an Electronic table game. You will find oodles of penny slot machines that can be played for as little as one penny at a time. The lowest  poker bet I am aware of would be to play a 25 VP machine one coin at a time. You can go to the booth that issues gaming cards that track play. Any casino person at the Revel will be able to point you in the right direction. Good Luck

too many that i seen advertising for atlantic city, i hear mixed sotries about jacks or better and duexes wild but non of them seem to payout for 1 pair 2 pair etc. something fairly close to playing texas hold em style or is it usually just a pair of jacks and all teh way up to royal flush with 2s. never thought they gave you so many different styles i thought finding a machine would be easy. i play the video poker all the time on the bar machines and resturants was hoping that was the exact same game as the casinos except you win money and not just a spot in the top 10 leader board

Revel casino smallest denomination is 25¢. The Taj has 5¢ video poker machines across from the poker room. Games are JOB, Deuces Wild, DDB, and others. I don`t know if Showboat has any 5¢ poker machines. The Borgata has some 5¢ poker machines over by the entrance to the Mixx nightclub.  Good Luck
