East Side Cannery, Vegas ???
We leave Mon.for Vegas..We're staying at Red Rock and renting a car. My hubby is heading south to fly some glider planes...He usually drops me off at GVR but I am considering having him drop me at the East Side Cannery. I'd be stuck there for 3-5 hours..I play Triple/five play Quarters mostly...I don't play any of the multiplier games, so I want a good selection of single line and multi line games multi denomination games...I don't want to get bored out of my mind..I'm also not too concerned about pay tables. Any input from anyone who has played there would be appreciated..K

We've played there. There's a decent variety of poker machines, but the casino is much smaller than GVR. Sams is walking distance from Eastside Cannery, but not sure I'd be comfortable walking by myself. Personally, I would be happier for several hours at GVR. Good luck wherever you end up!

thanks Frog, I often play triple and five play on line and love it when you are no. one just because I like your frog faces...
Gee where to play...Decisions, decisions! Hubby is flying two days and we only have two days in Vegas so I'll do GVR one day and maybe South Point one day..I've only been in there once but is seems a I lot of people play there...Thanks for the input..May play at the Cannery this winter when we will be in Vegas for a month..

I think you'll be happy with that decision. We are heading to Vegas in early September. We've never played at South Point but thought we might try it this trip. Do you recommend it?

I've only been there once but it was fun, as I remember...It's close to the "M" and we love their buffet..Stayed at the M a couple of times when it first opened but it's changed a lot for VP players..Still one of the top 5 buffets in Vegas ...South Point is older but there were plenty of machines. I'll be going back to Vegas 9/16 with a girl friend for four days...Renting a car. Two 70+ grannies on the loose in Vegas..Should be interesting. Where do you stay when in Vegas?

KJohn, I think Bob Dancer teaches VP classes at South Pointe, so I would imagine that he plays there also. You may want to try and get some VP games input from him - maybe a PM.

Kjohn, we like to try different places but our favorites have become Red Rock and Sams Town. Also enjoy Sunset Station. We rent a car and like to visit as many casinos as we can. We will definitely plan on visiting South Point and M this time, have never been to either.
