Ameristar has a joint agreement with MGM International, and their MLife program. If you have an MLife card, they will match your tier with the Ameristar Star card. I am not sure if it goes the other direction - Star Card to MLife.
On a trip this week to NW Indiana, the wife stopped in to the East Chicago Ameristar. She got her Star Elite card to match her MGM MLife NOIR card, and found multi-line $1 TDB 9/7 to play there.
I thought she was going up there just to visit her mother..
